DOLL
Handmade Armenian Dolls
These unique Armenian dolls are handmade by girls and women in Goris, Armenia. Some are displaced Artsakhtsis who have lost their husbands and sons in the latest wave of Azeri aggression against Armenians.
Ani Hovannisian met the women at Goris Women's Development Resource Center, and worked with them to design this original doll, each one crocheted by hand, representing the strength, resilience, and beauty of Armenian and all women.
